428; 430 pp. Original publisher’s boards with elaborate blind-stamped decorative borders and central medallion to boards; spines lettered in gilt. Spines show significant wear with softening and small chips to head and tail; Vol I has a circular library/cataloging sticker to the lower spine. Corners bumped and rubbed. Pages show mild age-toning and occasional light foxing but remain clean and legible.
