A gritty, atmospheric noir thriller set in the sun-drenched streets of 1950s Los Angeles. This "lost" novel follows the classic hard-boiled tradition with Matheson’s signature psychological depth. Published as a collaborative effort between two titans of specialty press, this edition marked the first time this work was available to the public after sitting in the author's archives for nearly fifty years.
